It is suitable for all levels of yoga, as well as for those interested in meditation. An opportunity to reconnect with your meditation or yoga practice if it has slipped, as well as a great way to try out these practices if you have not done them before.
During the day you will be introduced to breath awareness practices and the experience of stillness.
Yoga postures and sequences are practiced with awareness as we connect mind, body and heart in the present moment.
Mindful meditation focuses on breath, sound, thoughts and sensation.
Relaxation is also an integral part of the day.
These practices lead us towards connecting with our innate resources to access a sense of calmness as we engage with everyday life.
Lunch will be served on site and I will take you for a walk along quiet country roads where you can connect with nature.
Everything is provided, just bring yourself and let me look after you for the day.

“I did my training in the Satyananda Yoga and Meditation Centre in Galway with Swami Shraddhamurti and Swami Chetanmurti. I have practiced yoga and meditation for over 20 years with many excellent teachers here in Ireland and also in many other parts of the world including India. I have been teaching yoga for 12 years. As well as hosting weekly classes here in Achill, I teach yoga in schools, yoga in the workplace, private classes and residential weekends.”
